R. L Stine was born on October 8, 1943 and is currently 72 years old. He lives in New York with his wife Jane, an editor and writer, and he has a son named Matthew who works in the music industry. Stine in mostly known for his “Goosebumps” and “Fear Street” Series which have sold over 400 million copies worldwide.

He’s known as “The Stephen King” For children’s literature, writing books for kids to teenagers and even adults. But not all his books are spine – chilling as he has written books like comedy series “Rotten School” which went from 2005-2008.

R.L Stine still writes books today and released the very first Goosebumps motion picture in October 2015, he has now written tons of books in his lifetime which are too many to list; he’s now even brought back his hit series “Fear Street” In late 2014 after 20 years of not writing a fear street novel; the revival of the book series has been a success.
