I think that the It girl is a great book that teaches lots of lessons to kids that sometimes we forget and don’t use.

She lives with her Dad and her Mum rarely visits in between all of her trips. She has a dog named Dog and always acts out things with her dog. This book follows the story of rich self absorbed Gatsby who is bewitchingly in love with beautiful – charmingly naive and undoubtedly married daisy .

The Secret Garden – Frances Hodgson Burnett

Unknown-1Rating: 9/10

Genre: Mystery/Fantasy/Adventure

The Secret Garden is a fantasy book about a girl called Mary who comes from India because her parents die, to live with her uncle in Misselthwaite Manor. Mary is considered a spoilt, ill-tempered child. But with the help of new friends she becomes a better person. When Mary goes walking in the garden she comes across a door that leads to a secret garden. But the door is locked and has been locked for 10 years.

I would recommend this for people that like mystery and fantasy but should probably mostly be for girls but some boys could like. This book isn’t too hard or too easy. This book is a mix of fantasy, mystery and adventure. I would rate this book 9/10.

The Iron Man – Ted Hughes

Rating:7/10   Unknown-1

Reading Amount: Good for light reading

Genre: Fiction

Age Recommendation: 8-11

Synopsis: My human friend reads this book from time to time and enjoys the plot about the roaming metal giant becoming a hero instead of a pest to the farmers of a non-fictional world. The giant eating its way through the strongest of steel and the most indestructible iron only to end up in a junkyard of metal delights, or so my human says. My human friend liked the book and read it in between reading heavy reading book and work.

Summary: The story contains a faint moral buried mostly under the second problem, a giant-lizard-bat-dragon that eats planets has come to rest on Australia. A metal giant befriended by a boy, has been a pest to farmers has challenged the foreign fiend. Who Will Win!
