Summary: This book is about a nine year old boy named Jackson that lives in a pretty ordinary family, with a younger sister, and both parents as musicians. His life might seem normal to him, but it is about to take a turn for the worst. His family is forced to move out because of them not paying their rent and he goes on to live in a van, with his family, everything seems to go wrong until his best friend crenshaw comes to help him out, the last time he saw crenshaw was when he was little and they always used to hang out. Crenshaw had come to help and guide him through the rough time he is going through, although he doesn’t want his family to know that he came back, he was glad to have him by his side through everything he goes through.
